Lab 7 is pleased to announce it has received financial support from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions. This funding will help Lab 7 acquire state-of-the-art equipment and provide access to it for the performing arts community through its prototyping and technological mediation activities.
Lab 7 has already purchased a complete Optitrack motion capture system along with the Motive software, as well as several sensors: LiDar, Augmenta, Leap Motion Controller, etc. It also has several projectors (12K to 20K) and projection surfaces (floor, screen, modules), as well as a Disguise video server with integrated network system.
