We welcomed around a hundred people on site and 60 people followed us online.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Exciting conversations, case studies, performances and networking moments happened over the course of the day. A wide range of topics were covered, from the vision of professional associations to the use of artificial intelligence in live arts creation, training and case studies. The guides published by LAB7 and the HUPR Centre were also presented (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/7fingers.com\/lab#publications\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">find out more<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">).&nbsp;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sarah Bronsard presented an extract from her work \u00c8be, where robotized accordions take part in her flamenco dance in a mesmerizing performance. To close the day, LAB7 presented their explorations of using generative artificial intelligence in live dance and acrobatic performance.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Participants also experienced two virtual reality pieces inspired by the performing arts: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/messis.vangrimdecorpssecrets.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Messis<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, by Isabelle van Grimde, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/7fingers.com\/shows\/creations\/carry-me-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Carry Me Home VR<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, by Les 7 doigts de la main.&nbsp; Two pieces by Lisa Jamhoury were also displayed: explorations of the body in motion, combining motion capture, augmented reality and 3D printing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We would like to thank our institutional partners for their support: the Canada Council for the Arts and the Government of Quebec.
