This\u00a0sequence which produces the Golden Number is the red thread of the whole project.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">The objective of the project is the creation of a multidisciplinary show based on collaborations\u00a0between artists from different art forms and cultures. The creation residency in Copenhagen\u00a0is an intense marathon of three weeks where the Canadian artists will collaborate with the\u00a0Scandinavian artists to create a show that will be presented for one month at the Republique\u00a0The Fibonacci project 2011 Scandinavian Edition will aim towards the creation of a complete\u00a0and unique show based on recurring structures and guidelines permanent and developed to the\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\">Fibonacci project.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<p><strong>Profile for the circus artists:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Versatility<br \/>\n\u2022 High level of skills in one or more circus disciplines<br \/>\n\u2022 Training and\/or experience in dance and acting<br \/>\n\u2022 Capacity to propose and develop artistic ideas<br \/>\n\u2022 Capacity and interest to work in a group<\/p>\n<p><strong>We value:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Emerging artists<br \/>\n\u2022 Artists with professional experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Artists who graduated from a professional or superior school of circus arts<br \/>\n\u2022 Artists who have previous experience in a collective creation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Artists born in, and\/or living in, and \/or usually working in Scandinavia<br \/>\n\u2022 Artists must be available to participate in the 2 days Audition\/Workshop at AFUK in\u00a0Copenhagen February 19th-20th 2011<br \/>\n\u2022 Artists must be available to stay in Copenhagen for the whole length of the creation\u00a0residency (April 26th \u2013 May 18th 2011) as well as the following performance period (May\u00a019th \u2013 June 18th 2011).<br \/>\n\u2022 Artists must be available full time during the 3 weeks of the creation period (work schedule\u00a0up to 10 hrs per day and 6 days a week during this period)<\/p>\n<p><strong>We offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Work contract covering 7 weeks (April 26th \u2013 June 18th 2011)<br \/>\n\u2022 Gross payment for the 3 weeks of creation and 4 weeks of performances (contact Republique for details)<br \/>\n\u2022 Transport\/food\/lodging reimbursement \u00a0to attend the\u00a0Audition-workshops upon presentation of receipts\u00a0(contact Republique for details)<br \/>\n\u2022 Possibility of participating in an eventual Scandinavian tour with the show in 2012 (to be\u00a0confirmed after the residency in 2011)<\/p>\n<p><strong>SELECTION<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>There is 2 phases of selection:<\/p>\n<p>1- Pre-selection: based on their CV and video excerpts of their work, up to 20\u00a0artists will be invited for the Audition\/workshops.<\/p>\n<p>2- Final selection: the artists invited to the Audition-workshops will participate\u00a0in a 2 days workshop at the end of which the final selection of 4 artists will be\u00a0made. The Audition\/workshops will be conducted by Samuel T\u00e9treault (artistic\u00a0director of the Fibonacci Project) as well Martin Tulinius (co-director from the\u00a0Republique Teater) and Louise Hyun Dahl (choreographer).<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALL INTERESTED ARTISTS MUST SUBMIT BY EMAIL:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Your Curriculum Vitae (mandatory) as well as a short Biography (optional)<br \/>\n\u2022 A Video Demo or Video excerpts of your work and\/or performances.
