Since creating their first show, Loft<\/em>, in 2002, Les 7 Doigts have come a long way.
\nToday, after almost two dozen \u201chomemade\u201d productions and numerous large-scale collaborations, the collective has become one of the most active Quebec organizations on the international stage.<\/p>\n

Milestones<\/strong><\/p>\n

2002<\/strong>      The collective is formed and the first show Loft <\/a> is<\/em> created (directed by all the collective).<\/p>\n

2003   <\/strong>   Nassib El-Husseini<\/a> comes in as the collective\u2019s executive director.  
\n                 A 7 Doigts act is awarded the Prix Nikouline at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris.<\/a><\/p>\n

2006 <\/strong>     Traces <\/em><\/a>is created.  <\/em>The show goes to be performed more than 2000 times in ten years (directors: Shana Carroll & Gypsy Snider).<\/a><\/p>\n

2007  <\/strong>    La Vie<\/em> is<\/a> created in New York (directed by all the collective).
\n               The first international collaboration of the Fibonacci Project<\/em><\/a> is realized through a creative residency abroad (director: Samuel T\u00e9treault<\/a>).
\n                A 7 Doigts act is awarded a gold medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris.
\n<\/a>
\n2009<\/strong>      Psy<\/em> <\/a>is created (director: Shana Carroll).
\n                 Gypsy Snider directs the show Crime<\/em> for the National Circus School of Montreal.<\/a><\/p>\n

2010<\/strong>      Shana Carroll directs the show Il fait Dimanche<\/em> for the National Circus School of Montreal<\/a>.
\n                 Three Canadian Applied Arts Photography prizes are awarded for the poster of Psy<\/em><\/a> by Varial.
\n2011  <\/strong>    Patrick L\u00e9onard\u2019s solo show Patinoire <\/em><\/a>is created.
\n                Traces<\/em> is listed in Time Magazine<\/a>\u2019s Top 10 Plays & Musicals.<\/p>\n

2012 <\/strong>     S\u00e9quence 8<\/em><\/a> is created in Montreal (directors: Shana Carroll and S\u00e9bastien Soldevila).
\n                Amuse <\/a><\/em>is performed in Mexico (directors: Gypsy Snider and Isabelle Chass\u00e9).
\n                Traces<\/em> wins the Off Broadway Alliance B<\/strong>est Special Event Award.
\n                A 7 Doigts act is awarded a gold medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris.
\n               Traces<\/em> is nominated for a Helpmann Award in<\/a> Australia.
\n               The collective is awarded the \u201cPrix du CALQ<\/a>\u201d from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Qu\u00e9bec for the North-American tour of Traces.<\/em>
\n2013  <\/strong>    Murmure du coquelicot<\/em><\/a>, a carte blanche invitation from the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Nouveau Monde, is created (Directors: S\u00e9bastien Soldevila and Shana Carroll).
\n                 Les 7 Doigts direct the first segment of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
\n<\/a>                Gyspy Snider choreographs circus into the Broadway revival of Pippin<\/em><\/a>.  The musical goes on to be presented 1500 times and to win 4 Tony Awards.
\n               Queen of the Night<\/a><\/em> wins a Drama Desk Award for “Unique Theatrical Experience.”
\n              Gypsy Snider wins a Drama Desk Award for “Best Choreography” (for Pippin, <\/em>winner of 4 Drama Desk Awards).<\/p>\n

2014<\/strong>      Cuisine & Confessions<\/em><\/a> is created (directors: Shana Carroll and S\u00e9bastien Soldevila).
\n                Intersection<\/a><\/em>, a carte blanche invitation from the Montr\u00e9al Compl\u00e8tement Cirque Festival<\/a>, is created (directors: Gypsy Snider and Samuel T\u00e9treault).<\/p>\n

2015 <\/strong>     Triptyque<\/em> <\/a>is created with three guest choreographers (artistic director: Samuel T\u00e9treault)
\n                Queen of the Night<\/a><\/em> is created in New York, where it plays for 600 shows (circus director: Shana Carroll).
\n               The collective is granted the \u201cArtistes pour la Paix<\/a>\u201d (Artists for Peace) award in Montreal.
\n                Gypsy Snider stages the Edge of Reality<\/em><\/a> show featuring Darcy Oake.
\n                Gypsy Snider is the choreographer and movement director of Peter Pan 360.
\n<\/em><\/a>               The collective is awarded the Grand Prix du Conseil des arts de Montr\u00e9al.<\/a>
\n2016 <\/strong>     R\u00e9versible<\/em> <\/a>is created in Montreal (directors: Gypsy Snider et Isabelle Chass\u00e9).
\n                Bosch Dreams<\/a><\/em> is created in Denmark (director: Samuel T\u00e9treault).
\n                The Circus Princess<\/a><\/em> is created in Russia (director: S\u00e9bastien Soldevila).
\n                Shana Carroll leads the acrobatic direction of Cirque du Soleil\u2019s Paramour<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2017  <\/strong>    Vice & Vertu<\/em><\/a> is created on the occasion of the City of Montreal\u2019s 375th<\/sup> anniversary celebrations (directors: Samuel T\u00e9treault, Patrick L\u00e9onard, Isabelle Chass\u00e9).
\n              Crystal<\/a><\/em> is created with Cirque du Soleil (directors: Shana Carroll and S\u00e9bastien Soldevila).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2018 <\/strong>     Temporel<\/em><\/a> is created in collaboration with Lemieux-Pilon 4D Art (directors: Patrick L\u00e9onard, Isabelle Chass\u00e9, Shana Carroll).
\n                The company relocates to its Creation and Production Centre at 2111 St Laurent Boulevard.<\/a>
\n                 Les 7 Doigts de la Main Foundation\u2019s fundraising campaign is launched.
\n                 The company develops it offerings in the Asian market.   
\n                 Two new touring shows are created.
\n                 The shows R\u00e9versible<\/em>, Temporel<\/em>, Patinoire<\/em>, and Bosch Dreams <\/em>tour internationally.
\n                  The Circus Princess <\/em>continues its run in Moscow, having opened in 2016.
\n                   An Australian residency for The Fibonacci Project<\/em> is set up for 2019
\n                  Cuisine & Confessions<\/a><\/em> is booked at the Bobino hall in Paris from September to Christmas (80shows).<\/p>\n
