{"id":1071,"date":"2011-05-27T20:19:02","date_gmt":"2011-05-27T20:19:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.7doigts.com\/2011\/05\/27\/1071\/"},"modified":"2011-05-30T15:37:37","modified_gmt":"2011-05-30T15:37:37","slug":"1071","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.7doigts.com\/en\/2011\/05\/27\/1071\/","title":{"rendered":"Show at the Obelisco &#8211; Buenos Aires"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>This Saturday, May 28, the 7 Fingers are honored to perform at the Plaza de laR\u00e9public\u00e0, at the foot of the\u00a0Obelisco\u00a0in Buenos Aires.<\/h4>\n<p>Each year,\u00a0the\u00a0city\u00a0of\u00a0Buenos\u00a0Aires\u00a0offers\u00a0shows free of charge\u00a0to its\u00a0residents,\u00a0amongwhich\u00a0the\u00a0largest\u00a0is\u00a0the show presented\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Obelisk.\u00a0The city&#8217;s busiest\u00a0boulevard\u00a0will be closed\u00a0to make way\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0stage\u00a0and some several\u00a0thousand\u00a0spectators\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0legendaryObelisk,\u00a0erected\u00a0in 1936.<\/p>\n<p>This year marks the event&#8217;s first ever showing of circus arts, which will take the form of a show specially created for the occasion by the 7 Fingers.<\/p>\n<p>Casa de Nadie\u00a0(The House of Nobody) features the artists of PSY,\u00a0 the 7 Fingers show currently running in Buenos Aires&#8217; Polo Circo Big Top. This special creation, directed by Fingers co-founder Gypsy Snider, explores the idea\u00a0that\u00a0nothing\u00a0belongs to us\u00a0individually\u00a0and\u00a0\u00a0thatthe world\u00a0is\u00a0our\u00a0common home.
