Gypsy Snider Choreographs Circus in Broadway-Bound Pippin

Custom-made Projects News January 11, 2013

Last seen in New York in 1977, Pippin is finally returning to Broadway, in a new circus-themed production directed by Diane Paulus. For the new version, Paulus placed the circus choreography in the hands of Les 7 doigts de la main’s Gypsy Snider.

The musical is currently playing at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) in Boston. Producers have just announced the show’s transfer to Broadway’s Music Box Theatre, with shows scheduled from March 23.

Following Shana Carroll’s collaboration in the Oscar Ceremonies in 2012, Gypsy’s involvement in Pippin is another example of the pleasure we take in extending our work to new fields and new worlds.
