IN PERSON APPOINTMENT AUDITIONS & VIDEO SUBMISSIONS FOR

ACROBATS, CIRCUS PERFORMERS & ATHLETES NOW BEING ACCEPTED

TO JOIN IN THE CREATION OF THIS UNIQUE REVIVAL PRODUCTION OF THE ICONIC BROADWAY MUSICAL FROM COMPOSER STEPHEN SCHWARTZ (WICKED, GODSPELL) AND ROGER O. HIRSON ORIGINALLY DIRECTED & CHOREOGRAPHED ON BROADWAY BY BOB FOSSE

We are seeking the following:

MALE PORTER: Dynamic and static, including any other following skills: juggling/passing, experience in hand balancing, poles, tumbling and duo trapeze. Other specialty skills welcome.

FEMALE FLYER: Dynamic and static, including any other following skills: juggling/passing, hula hoop, silks, aerial hoop, hand balancing, tumbling and      contortion. Other specialty skills welcome.

MALE FLYER/ACROBAT: Dynamic and static, including any other following skills:

tumbling and hand balancing, Chinese poles and juggling/passing Other specialty skills welcome.

FEMALE CONTORTIONIST: including any other following skills:

Silks, aerial hoop, hand balancing, hula-­‐hoop, Chinese poles and juggling/passing, tumbling, duo acrobatics. Other specialty skills welcome.

ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. AGAIN, US CITIZENSHIP OR GREEN CARD STATUS A MUST.

PLEASE BRING OWN EQUIPMENT. APPROPRIATE ATTIRE REQUIRED.

(We will have a rigger on site for single point apparatus. The rigger will not pull for choreography. )

NOTE from Les 7 Doigts de la main Choreographer:   The world of Pippin we are trying to create involves the use of multi-­‐disciplined circus arts.  For our actors, singers and dancers, we are really interested to see what physical capacities they bring to the table in terms of strength, flexibility and dexterity.  We would want to integrate these creative and unique skills into the musical numbers.  Skills with contortion, tissue, hand-­‐balancing, hand to hand, pairs and duo-­‐mixed would be of added value.
