28th GRAND PRIX DU CONSEIL DES ARTS DE MONTRÉAL
THE 2012 FINALISTS

The Chairman of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, the Honourable Charles Lapointe P.C., announced today the names of the nine organizations chosen as finalists for the 28th Grand Prix du Conseil des arts de Montréal.
A jury of peers carefully reviewed the artistic activities and events that took place during 2012, as well as the achievements of artistic organizations that had an undeniable impact on the growth of their discipline: circus arts, digital arts, visual arts, film and video, dance, literature, music, new artistic practices, and theatre. Following their recommendations, the Conseil selected nine finalists including:
Les 7 doigts de la main, for its 10 years of outstanding artistic creation and success in the circus arts field.
The name of the winner will be revealed on March 19, 2013 during the Conseil des arts de Montréal’s annual luncheon, to be held at the Sheraton Hotel.
