Requirements:
• Artists born in, and/or living in, and /or usually working in Scandinavia
• Artists must be available to participate in the 2 days Audition/Workshop at AFUK in Copenhagen February 19th-20th 2011
• Artists must be available to stay in Copenhagen for the whole length of the creation residency (April 26th – May 18th 2011) as well as the following performance period (May 19th – June 18th 2011).
• Artists must be available full time during the 3 weeks of the creation period (work schedule up to 10 hrs per day and 6 days a week during this period)
We offer:
• Work contract covering 7 weeks (April 26th – June 18th 2011)
• Gross payment for the 3 weeks of creation and 4 weeks of performances (contact Republique for details)
• Transport/food/lodging reimbursement to attend the Audition-workshops upon presentation of receipts (contact Republique for details)
• Possibility of participating in an eventual Scandinavian tour with the show in 2012 (to be confirmed after the residency in 2011)
SELECTION:
There is 2 phases of selection:
1- Pre-selection: based on their CV and video excerpts of their work, up to 20 artists will be invited for the Audition/workshops.
2- Final selection: the artists invited to the Audition-workshops will participate in a 2 days workshop at the end of which the final selection of 4 artists will be made. The Audition/workshops will be conducted by Samuel Tétreault (artistic director of the Fibonacci Project) as well Martin Tulinius (co-director from the Republique Teater) and Louise Hyun Dahl (choreographer).
ALL INTERESTED ARTISTS MUST SUBMIT BY EMAIL:
• Your Curriculum Vitae (mandatory) as well as a short Biography (optional)
• A Video Demo or Video excerpts of your work and/or performances. It needs to be easily sent by email (web links for Youtube or Vimeo for example) or easy to download for several persons in different locations (uploading videos on a “dropbox” or “yousendit” account for example)
• Web link for their own web sites if they have one
• A portrait photo and photos of your work if possible
• All necessary contact information to reach you (phone, email, skype)
